Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Mr. Aleksandar Cincar, Director of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ms. Mirjana Sucur, Head of Department for Standardization in the field of IEC/ITU/CENELEC/ETSI.

ETSI produces European standards and other standardization documents for ICT (Information and Communications Technologies), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and internet technology. ETSI is also very active in the vital standardization areas like interoperability, including protocols testing and methodologies. Although primarily a European organization, ETSI has globally expanded its activities, thanks to the quality of its  work, so now gathers more than 700 members from 62 countries around the world. This fact is very important for members who now have a greater possibility of international trade. Unlike CEN and CENELEC, whose members are exclusively national standards bodies or national electrotechnical committees, ETSI unites different groups of members: manufacturers, network operators, national administrators (usually national standardization bodies), service providers, research bodies, consultancy, user and consumer groups.
