The 36th meeting of the Serbian National Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) was held in Zlatibor from May 22-26, 2023.

This year, scientific and professional workers, organizations from the field of science, electric utility companies and electrical industry were presented, and through written professional-scientific papers and a comprehensive expert discussion, contributed to solving current problems related to the operation and development of the electric power system.

During four days of the Conference, within the plenary sessions of the study committees, 177 papers were presented regarding current topics important for overcoming the current energy crisis and for the development of the electricity and energy sector. Possible reforms of the pan-European electricity market initiated by the unsustainable growth of market prices of electricity were also announced.

On behalf of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivona Pikić- Hart, expert associate and Željka Popić, senior expert associate attended the Conference.
