22nd Plenary session of the ISO/TC 34/SC 12 - Working group for sensory analysis

From 19 to 20 April 2012,  in the French city of Toulouse, 22nd Plenary Session of the ISO/TC 34/SC 12 - Working group for sensory analysis was held. At the initiative of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at  the recommendation of the Technical committee for food BAS/TC 43, this session was attended by PhD Midhat Jasic, full professor at the Technological University of Tuzla.

17 resolutions has been adopted at the meeting (from N° 218  to N° 2399). The aim was to compare the work methods regarding the use of sensory analysis in quality control and development of food product, as well as in procedures for adoption and improvement of standards.

As a result of active participation in this plenary session, Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the meeting of the working group ISO/TC 34/SC 12, in 2013. The program of activities for preparation of this important event will be done by PhD Midhat Jasic and Biljana Baljaj, expert at the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina,  by the end of 2012.
