BAS EN ISO 14001:2017, Environmental management systems – requirements with guidance for use, was adopted by translation method.

This BiH standard is identical to the international standard EN ISO 14001:2015, Environmental management systems – requirements with guidance for use and it supersedes BAS EN ISO 14001:2006, Environmental management systems – requirements with guidance for use.

BAS EN ISO 14001:2017 specifies the requirements and gives guidance for an implementation of environmental management system. This new edition is intended to support the integration of environmental issues in the development strategy of the organization or company. Standard emphasises the responsibilities of top management, as well as an initiative to protect the environment by use of sustainable resources and mitigate climate change.

This standard is applicable to any organization, regardless of its size, type and nature.
