The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through its Technical Committee BAS/TC 30, Electric cables, has adopted the second edition of the BAS EN IEC 60652:2022,  Overhead line structures - Loading tests, which is a translation of the English version of the European standard EN IEC 60652:2021, Overhead line structures - Loading tests.

BAS IEC 60652:2022 specifies the methods and procedures of testing supports for overhead lines. It applies to the testing of supports and structures of overhead lines.

There is no restriction on the type of material used in the fabrication of the supports which may include, but not be limited to, metallic alloys, concrete, timber, laminated wood and composite materials. If requested by the client, this document can also be applied to the testing of telecommunications supports, railway/tramway overhead electrification supports, electrical substation gantries, street lighting columns, wind turbine towers, ski-lift supports, etc.

Tests on reduced scale models of support are not covered by this document.

The original texts of the standard were prepared by the Technical Committee CLC/TC 11, Overhead Electrical Lines Exceeding 1 KV A.C. (1.5 KV D.C.), whose secretariat is held by the French national standardization body (AFNOR-CEF).
