Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in East Sarajevo

Director of the Institute for Standardization of BiH Aleksandar Todorović and dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of East Sarajevo Milija Kraišnik signed today an Agreement on cooperation in the field of standardization, which is important for both institutions.
Todorovic pointed out that with this agreement, the staff of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will participate in the work of technical committees in full capacity, through which the BAS standards are planned, prepared and adopted.
He stated that he will jointly work on the introduction of standardization in all cycles of studies at this Faculty, and that students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will have the opportunity to visit the Institute, in order to get acquainted with its work, i.e. the processes and goals of standardization. Joint educations, workshops, round tables would also be organized to monitor the application of the standards.
Kraisnik said that the signing of the Agreement opens a new chapter in cooperation between the two institutions, adding that so far the cooperation has been at a high level. He also stated that students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have always had a correct cooperation with the Institute through various projects, that they could use online tools to access the standards they used to produce final papers on the first and second cycle of studies. And that they had an advisory role in the establishment of the Center of Accredited Laboratories, and that they actively participated in the work of their scientific conference "Comet".
Cooperation between the two institutions will relate to the improvement of the curriculum, on the subject Technical Standards and Regulations, which is implemented at the study program of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
