„Standardization and Quality in Postal Traffic“ Conference was held
On September 12, 2024, the Conference „Standardization and quality in postal traffic“ was held in Sarajevo. The Conference was organized by the Agency for Postal Traffic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the GIZ Open Regional Fund for South East Europe - Foreign Trade, with the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a partner.
The Conference gathered a large number of participants from the field of postal traffic from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries.
Two panel discussions were held at the Conference: „Quality in postal traffic – Market needs and operator experiences“ and „Standardization in postal traffic – Obligations under EU Regulations and the implementation of standards“.
As representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aleksandar Todorović, Director of the Institute, and Tihomir Anđelić, Head of the department for general standardization, participated in the Conference.
On behalf of the Institute Tihomir Anđelić held a presentation on „ISBiH and BAS standards for postal traffic“ in order to promote standardization and the importance of implementing standards.
