The two-day conference Sfera 2026: Air Conditioning, Heating and Cooling (HVAC) was held from 7 to 8 October 2026.
At the opening of the conference, Nedžad Memić addressed the attendees on behalf of Sfera Ltd., noting that Sfera’s HVAC conferences had become well-established and widely recognised across the region as a platform for communication, cooperation and the exchange of experience and knowledge. As such, they had become a highly regarded event, which is confirmed by the attendance of visitors from across the region.
The two-day event brought together leading regional and European experts, professors, designers and manufacturers from the HVAC industry. This year’s exhibition and presentations was focused primarily on energy efficiency, the green transition and the use of renewable energy sources, with particular emphasis on the role of heat pumps in decarbonising heating and cooling systems.
The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH) was an event partner.
Following the opening remarks, Hafiza Zametica, Adviser at the Institute for Standardization, held a presentation entitled ISBIH and HVAC Standards. The presentation highlighted standards relevant to the conference topics, focusing on the role of standardization in improving the quality, safety and compliance of modern HVAC systems.
