On Thursday, December 12, 2019, during a ceremony marking the Day of the Institute for Standardization of BiH, the Annual Business Meeting of the Institute for Standardization of BiH Expert Bodies Representatives was held. In addition to representatives of expert bodies, the meeting was attended by representatives of Quality infrastructure institutions and Chambers of Commerce of the Entities.

The meeting was devoted to a discussion on how to improve the standardization process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The purpose of the meeting was to provide feedback on how to improve the Institute’s work. The attendees were informed about the participation of the Institute for Standardization of BiH in standards organizations at European and international level, the obligations of the Institute regarding full membership in the European Standards Organizations CEN and CENELEC, the services of the Institute and the plans for the next period.

On this occasion, the plaques and acknowledgments for an outstanding and significant contribution to the development, implementation and promotion of standards as well as for the advancement of standardization in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented.
