The International Symposium INFOTEH-JAHORINA gathers experts, scientists, engineers, researchers, and students from the field of information technologis and their application in control, communication, production and electronic systems, power engineering, and in other areas of electrical engineering and computing.
The working part of the Symposium was organized through sessions, round tables, invited lectures, and presentations. The Symposium pays special attention to young researchers and students by organizing a special student session. Presented papers are published in the SCOPUS database of international scientific papers.
The largest professional organization in the world, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - IEEE, is this year's technical co-sponsor of INFOTECH, which means that the presented papers will be published in the scientific database of this international institute, and the global scientific association will be informed about it. A total of 208 scientific papers were presented at the Symposium.
Representatives of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 23rd International Symposium INFOTEH-JAHORINA 2024 were Željka Popić, senior expert associate for electrotechnical standardization, Miljan Vasković, expert associate for electrotechnical standardization, and Goran Mrkaja, expert advisor for the Ex-Commission.
The Institute for Standardization of BiH was presented through two scientific papers. The paper entitled „Development and specifics of the national regulatory aspect for Bosnia and Herzegovina according to BAS EN 50341-1:2014“ was prepared and presented by Miljan Vasković from the Institute for Standardization of BiH, and co-authored by PhD Nada Cincar from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo. The paper entitled „Analysis of the impact of additional load on overhead electrical eines in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ was prepared by PhD Nada Cincar and PhD Aleksandar Simović from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, co-authored by Miljan Vasković. The presented papers are the result of successful cooperation between the Institute for Standardization of BiH and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
