New edition of BAS EN ISO 9001:2015

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has launched a new edition of ISO 9001: 2015 in September, which was accepted by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) as EN ISO 9001: 2015. This is one of the most applicable and famous standards globally. The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has followed the development of this international standard and adopted it by translation method into the standardization system of Bosnia and Herzegovina through its Technical Committee BAS/TC 3, Quality management and quality assurance. After a Public enquiry, a new edition of the standard BAS EN ISO 9001:2015, Quality management systems - Requirements, has been published which is identical to the European standard EN ISO 9001: 2015 and international standard ISO 9001: 2015, Quality management systems - Requirements. The said standard is available to all stakeholders and can be ordered on the web site of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

A new edition of BAS EN ISO 9000:2015, Quality management systems - Fundamentals and vocabulary, has also been published, adopted by translation method, and it is identical to the European standard EN ISO 9000: 2015 and the international standard ISO 9000: 2015, Quality management systems - Fundamentals and vocabulary. This standard describes the basic terms and principles of quality management and it represent the basis for the implementation of quality management systems.

 

Both old and new edition of ISO 9001 will be applicable from September 2015 to September 2018, as shown in this Figure.
