This original standard specifies requirements and test methods for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which is used in industry and households. This standard applies to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) consisting of propane, butane, propene, butene, pentane/pentene and their mixtures.

The main technical changes compared to the previous edition relate to updating the standards for test methods and defining new limit values.
