The third edition of BiH standard BAS EN ISO/IEC 17011: 2018, Conformity assessment - Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies has just been published. The standard is adopted as a translation of the international standard ISO/IEC 17011: 2017, Conformity assessment - Requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies.

This standard specifies requirements for competence, consistent work and impartiality of accreditation bodies assessing and accrediting conformity assessment bodies.

International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) have developed a transition plan to ensure that all accreditation bodies which are signatories to the IAF MLA and ILAC MRA transition to ISO/IEC 17011: 2017 three years from the date of publication.

BiH standard BAS EN ISO/IEC 17011: 2018 was prepared by the Working Group BAS/TC 3/WG 1, Conformity assessment and adopted by the Technical Committee BAS/TC 3, Quality management and quality assurance.
