BiH standard BAS EN 1027:2024, Windows and doors - Water tightness - Test method.

The third edition of BiH standard BAS EN 1027:2024 was prepared in a bilingual version, in Bosnian and English.

The original text of the European standard was prepared by the Technical Committee CEN/TC 33, Doors, windows, shutters, building hardware and curtain walling, whose secretariat is held by AFNOR.

BAS EN 1027:2024 defines the test method used to be used to determine the watertightness of completely assembled windows and doorsets of any materials. This test method is designed to take account of conditions in use, when the window or doorset is installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specification and the requirements of the relevant European standards and codes of practice.

This European Standard does not apply to the joints between windows or doorset frame and the building construction.

BAS EN 1027:2024 was prepared by the Technical Committee of the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BAS/TC 60, Doors and Windows.
