Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina Published 2025 Annual Report
The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ISBIH) has published the 2025 Annual Work Report, which provides a comprehensive overview of key activities, achieved results, and strategic initiatives implemented in the past year.
The report provides insight into key segments of the Institute's work through the following sections:
• Bosnia and Herzegovina Standardization:
A detailed statistical overview and structure of the standard collection at the end of 2025 are given — including the total number of valid standards, as well as the scope of adopted international, European, and national documents from other countries, along with an overview of their harmonization with EU directives and regulations. The report also includes an overview of standards adopted by the translation method, information on the further development of the Online Terminology Dictionary of Standardization, the work of the Ex-Commission and the Information and Notification Point of ISBIH, as well as sales indicators and an overview of the most requested standards on the domestic market.
• International and Regional Cooperation:
The active participation of ISBIH representatives in the work of international (ISO/IEC) and European (CEN/CENELEC/ETSI) standardization bodies, work in technical committees, and presence at general assemblies are highlighted, with regular notification of European organizations on adopted standards and the continuation of successful regional cooperation.
• Promotion and Information:
The most significant events that marked the past period are presented, as well as the continuity in informing the professional and wider public through the publication of the official Bulletin and the ISBIH newsletter.
