.Annual report for 2021
The Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published the Annual Report for 2021.
The most significant results achieved in the previous year are:
· 2998 standards and standardization documents were adopted, of which 2162 European and 826 international standards;
· 38 standards were adopted by the translation method;
· A national annex to BAS EN 1997-2: 2017, Eurocode 7: Geotechnical design - Part 2: Research and testing of foundation soil has been developed;
· 30 national annexes, drafted and published in one of the three official languages of BiH, have been translated into English;
· standards and amendments, for Eurocode 2 and Eurocode 3, have been translated;
· ten standards have been translated from the field of BIM;
· three seminars were organized for a wider audience within the project “Strengthening the capacity of the national quality infrastructure for standardization and assessment of construction products in Bosnia and Herzegovina”;
· “Baseline study on the implementation of the BIM method in BiH” was prepared, as well as the “Concept of the introduction of the BIM method in Bosnia and Herzegovina”;
· As a full member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the Institute for Standardization of BiH in 2021 gained the status of an active member in two other ISO technical committees, ISO/TC 176, Quality management and quality assurance and ISO/TC 334, Reference materials;
· The Strategic plan for the adoption of standards and other documents in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2022-2024 was published;
· online access to draft BAS standards that is under public enquiry is provided;
· The Agreement on cooperation on the establishment of an Information point for access and reading of BiH standards and other standardization documents in the Student organization of the Faculty was signed.
