At the inaugural session held on 3 December 2015 at the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Technical Committee BAS/TC 60, Doors and windows has been established.

At the session, the members of the Technical Committee BAS/TC 60 have adopted the following:

• The name of the Technical committee BAS/TC 60, Doors and windows
• The scope of the Technical committee BAS/TC 60, Standardization in the field of doors and windows, shutters, building hardware and curtain walling made of any suitable material, including terminology, classifications and symbols, dimensions, testing methods and specific requirements.
• Correspondent European and international Technical Committees
  • CEN/TC 33, Doors, windows, shutters, building hardware and curtain walling
  • ISO/TC 162, Doors and windows
• Chairman of BAS/TC 60 is Marko Novak, Head of the test center Feal Ltd Široki Brijeg.
• Technical Secretary and Coordinator is Hafiza Zametica, senior associate at the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Institute has recognized the importance of standardization in the field of doors and windows and made a decision on the establishment of this Committee in order to contribute to better understanding and application of standards in the field of doors and windows in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
