Note 1 to entry: An incident where injury and ill health occurs is sometimes referred to as an “accident”.
Note 2 to entry: An incident where no injury and ill health occurs, but has the potential to do so, may be referred to as a “near-miss”, “near-hit” or “close call”.
Note 3 to entry: Although there can be one or more nonconformities (3.34) related to an incident, an incident can also occur where there is no nonconformity.

NAPOMENA 1 uz termin: Incident tokom kog dolazi do povrede i narušavanja zdravlja nekada se naziva „akcident”.
NAPOMENA 2 uz termin: Incident tokom kog ne dolazi do povrede i narušavanja zdravlja, ali za to postoji mogućnost, može se smatrati „događajem koji je jedva izbjegnut”, „samo što se nije desio” ili „umalo da se desi”.
NAPOMENA 3 uz termin: Iako može da postoji jedna ili više neusaglašenosti (3.34) u vezi s jednim incidentom, incident ipak može da se pojavi i tamo gdje nema neusaglašenosti.
