Definition (EN)person or group of people who directs and controls an organization (3.1) at the highest level Note 1 to entry: Top management has the power to delegate authority and provide resources within the organization, provided ultimate responsibility for the OH&S management system (3.11) is retained. Note 2 to entry: If the scope of the management system (3.10) covers only part of an organization, then top management refers to those who direct and control that part of the organization. Note 3 to entry: This constitutes one of the common terms and core definitions for ISO management system standards given in Annex SL of the Consolidated ISO Supplement to the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 1. Note 1 to entry has been modified to clarify the responsibility of top management in relation to an OH&S management system.

Definition (SR)osoba ili grupa ljudi koji usmjeravaju i kontrolišu organizaciju (3.1) s najvišeg nivoa NAPOMENA 1 uz termin: Najviše rukovodstvo ima moć da delegira ovlaštenja i obezbjeđuje resurse u okviru organizacije, pod uslovom da zadržava krajnju odgovornost za OH&S sistem upravljanja (3.11). NAPOMENA 2 uz termin: Ukoliko područje primjene sistema upravljanja (3.10) obuhvata samo dio organizacije, onda se najviše rukovodstvo odnosi na one koji usmjeravaju i kontrolišu taj dio organizacije. NAPOMENA 3 uz termin: Ovaj termin predstavlja jedan od zajedničkih termina i ključnih definicija za ISO standarde za sisteme upravljanja koji su dati u Dodatku SL konsolidovanog ISO dodatka za ISO/IEC direktive, dio 1. Napomena 1 uz termin je modifikovana kako bi se razjasnila odgovornost najvišeg rukovodstva u vezi sa OH&S sistemom upravljanja.
