The Bulletin 4/20
The Institute for Standardization of BiH has prepared and published Bulletin No. 4/20.
Part of the Bulletin is dedicated to World Standards Day, which is celebrated every year on October 14th. This year's message from the International Commission on Electrical Engineering (IEC), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) was: “Protecting the planet with standards”. The message states the following: “In order to reduce human impact on our planet, we need the political will, concrete action and the right tools. International standards are one such tool”.
Thanks to internet technology, our cars not only allow us to make a phone calls in the car, but also alert us if we drive in the wrong lane, inform us about the current traffic situation. They provide information on where the nearest gas station is. As technology is increasingly used in vehicles, the automotive industry is facing the primordial challenge of our time: protecting global automotive infrastructure from cybercriminals, whose goal is to steal data and take control of automotive systems for malicious purposes. You can also read more about this very current and interesting topic in Bulletin 4/20.
Also, find out about drones and unmanned aircraft systems that play a major role during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in helping deliver aid or monitoring physical distancing.
In the Bulletin you may also find information on newly published, replaced and withdrawn BAS standards.
